Steel Signing Ceremony

A day for the St David’s history books as last steel frame is placed in new building.

This morning we made a little bit of magic happen at St David’s. As the last piece of steel work was due to be placed in the new building, we took this opportunity to make history with a special signing ceremony. The whole Senior Management Team and Heads of School were there to commemorate the occasion along with the four grandchildren of Mrs Wagstaff, who used to own St David’s for many years, before Wishford Education took over. Each person signed their name on the steel frame and then watched as it was carried to it’s new home. The frame is part of a large window that will be over looking Beckenham Road and whilst we may not be able to see these signatures we will always know that they are there, bringing the school’s past into the future.
