Rainforest Comes to St David’s Prep!

Year 1 and Year 5 have been studying the Rainforest and although they love a good trip, they couldn’t go to the Rainforest (too much English and Maths to get through!), so the Rainforest came to them in the form of the ‘The Bug Man’ – a rainforest scientist, who shared his knowledge and anecdotes, as well as introducing them to a range of living specimens (from both the Plant and Animal Kingdoms) from his trips. Among the favourites were: the tarantula, the lizard, a (sadly) arthritic millipede, ancient cockroaches, winged cockroaches and terrapin.
