Day 1 at Carroty Wood

The year 5 children were all very excited as they set off this morning to Carroty Wood in Tonbridge. The weather has been glorious and they have been outside all day. They have been learning how to tie knots and built their own rafts – none of which sank – phew!

They have been overcoming lots of fears by taking to the high ropes, and

took part in races up the towers and then completed the leap of faith! They will sleep well tonight.
