A visitor to Reception!

On Monday 16th March Reception had an exciting morning as they were visited by PC Dan. He came to talk to the children about road safety and about not talking to strangers. They learnt when to ring 999 and why they should only do this in an emergency. They also learnt that a police officer is

someone approachable when a child is in trouble. PC Dan taught them the police phonetic alphabet and they all had fun trying to remember the letter name for their own name.

They asked lots of interesting questions and enjoyed watching their friends being handcuffed, trying on the body armour and police helmet.

Thank you for visiting PC Dan!
