As part of our Shakespeare Week, Y5 and Y6 will be participating in a Fencing Exhibition. Fencing traces its roots to the development of swordsmanship for duels and self defense. A hopefully exciting and modern sport for the children to try, based on the many Shakespearean plays that include duels and sword fights.
