Have you ever been to Pirate School?

Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to the National Maritime Museum.

It was a pleasure being out and about on a crisp, clear Autumn day and the class enjoyed the excitement of travelling by train and DLR to Greenwich. On the journey they marvelled at the sights of the River Thames, the Cutty Sark and the impressive, stately buildings in Greenwich.

The highlight of the day was Pirate School where the children were enthralled by the teacher, who delighted and horrified them alike with many of the gruesome customs and habits of pirates. At the end of the day, they retraced their steps back to school with the feeling of a great shared experience and happy memories created together.
