A visit to the library

Year 4 enjoyed a trip to West Wickham library this week. They walked up after their lunch with Mrs Stock, Mrs Skelton and Mrs Thorpe and were met by the junior librarian, Sarah. She guided them through the organisation of the library, explained how books had to be located and sorted. Sarah then treated the children to a selection of Roald Dahl’s ‘Revolving Rhymes’ – the children couldn’t resist joining in! They are now excited about visiting again or even registering for the first time.

One of the children commented, ‘I can’t wait for Mummy to take me this weekend!’
